Mesonic Spectra of Bosonized QCD2 Models
نویسنده
چکیده
We discuss bosonized two-dimensional QCD with massless fermions in the adjoint and multi-flavor fundamental representations. We evaluate the massive mesonic spectra of several models by using the lightfront quantization and diagonalizing the mass operator M2 = 2P+P−. We recover previous results in the case of one flavor adjoint fermions and we find the exact massive spectrum of multi flavor QCD in the limit of large number of flavors. Two-Dimensional Instantons with Bosonization and Physics of Adjoint QCD2
We evaluate partition functions ZI in topologically nontrivial (instanton) gauge sectors in the bosonized version of the Schwinger model and in a gauged WZNW model corresponding to QCD2 with adjoint fermions. We show that the bosonized model is equivalent to the fermion model only if a particular form of the WZNW action with gauge-invariant integrand is chosen. For the exact correspondence, it ...
متن کاملSolitons as baryons and qualitons as constituent quarks in two-dimensional QCD
We study the soliton type solutions arising in two-dimensional quantum chromodynamics (QCD2). In bosonized QCD2 these type of solutions emerge as describing baryons and quark solitons (excitations with “colored” states), respectively. The so-called generalized sine-Gordon model (GSG) arises as the low-energy effective action of bosonized QCD2 for unequal quark mass parameters, and it has been s...
متن کاملTwo Dimensional Qcd and Abelian Bosonization
A bosonized action, that reproduces the structure of the ’t Hooft equation for QCD2 in the large-N limit, up to regularization dependent terms, is derived.
متن کاملQCD2-Screening, Confinement and Novel non-abelian Solutions
We analyze the question of screening versus confinement in bosonized massless QCD in two dimensions. We deduce the screening behavior of massless SU(Nc) QCD with flavored fundamental fermions and fermions in the adjoint representation. This is done by computing the potential between external quarks as well as by bosonizing also the external sources and analyzing the states of the combined syste...
متن کاملBosonization and QCD in Two Dimensions
Quantum Chromodynamics (QCD) is believed to describe the strong interactions. In the asymptotic domain of large momenta, improved perturbation theory describes phenomena by use of point like quarks and gluons. But the spectrum and wave functions are in the non-perrturbative domain, for which not much can be done analytically in four dimensions. In order to develop analytical methods physicists ...
